Mr. Suniti Kumar Bhat is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Antelopus Selan Energy Limited. He previously co-founded Antelopus Energy Private Limited, where he served as Director. Under his leadership, the company acquired a controlling stake in Selan Exploration Technology Limited, which was subsequently merged to form Antelopus Selan Energy Limited.
With over three decades of experience in the global Oil and Gas industry, Mr. Bhat has held several leadership roles across exploration, development and production operations. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Cairn Oil & Gas and was a member of its Executive Committee, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across assets. Notably, he successfully led the implementation of the world’s largest polymer flooding project at the Mangala Field.
His international experience includes key roles in reservoir management and production optimization with leading operators such as BG Group and Centrica, with assignments spanning the UK and Central Asia.
Mr. Bhat has completed the General Management Program from Harvard Business School, holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
