Situated within the Ahmedabad–Mehsana tectonic block of the Cambay Basin, the Karjisan Field has emerged as a key driver of Company’s production growth. The field covers 5 sq. km, with the PSC executed on February 16, 2004 and the Mining Lease granted on November 23, 2005, valid until November 2030 (extendable by 10 years).
The primary producing zones are the K-III and K-IV reservoirs of the Kalol Formation (Middle Eocene). The Company has implemented extensive development initiatives, including seismic interpretation, well drilling and production enhancement programs.
Karjisan continues to perform strongly, underpinning the Company’s oil and gas output growth
