The Elao Field is located about 40 km northwest of Surat, Gujarat. The contract area spans 9.98 sq. km and was originally awarded to PFH Oil & Gas Pvt. Limited. under the Discovered Small Field (DSF-I) round. 

In July 2022, the Company entered into a Farm-In & Farm-Out Agreement with PFH for the transfer of 100% participating interest and operatorship, which received final approval from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on December 18, 2023.

The primary producing reservoir is the Hazad Sand of the Ankleshwar Formation (Middle–Upper Eocene).
