Mr. Manabesh Chowdhury is the Head – Development and Chief Geologist at Antelopus Selan Energy Limited, bringing over 25 years of extensive subsurface experience across production, development, appraisal and exploration stages. He holds a Master of Technology from IIT Bombay through a prestigious collaborative program with Karlsruhe University, Germany, as a distinguished DAAD Scholar and has further strengthened his leadership and strategic capabilities through a Leadership Management Programme at IIM Ahmedabad.

He has worked with leading industry operators including Reliance (E&P), Cairn, PETRONAS, Selan Exploration and Antelopus Energy, gaining deep insights across diverse geological settings.

Mr. Chowdhury specializes in reservoir management, with expertise in detailed reservoir characterization, optimal well placement, production enhancement and integrated asset management. He has a proven track record across multiple basins, with significant experience in both conventional reservoirs and unconventional, low-permeability formations.
