D 31 Contract Area
(Mumbai Offshore)

The D31 contract area is located in the offshore shallow waters of the Mumbai Offshore Basin, covering an area of approximately 271.8 sq. km. A total of seven wells have been drilled in this area, resulting in four hydrocarbon discoveries—D-12, D-31, B-192A, BH-67 and BH-70. Among these, two wells (D-12-1 and BH-67) have tested gas, while three wells (D-31-1, B-192A-1 and BH-70) have tested oil.  The area is advantageously positioned with access to existing offshore infrastructure for hydrocarbon evacuation and a well-established onshore pipeline network supporting a strong gas market. Attractive fiscal compiled with strong gas market, the Contract Area offers significant growth pothential to the Company.
